There is no substitute for safe, sane, handling of a vehicle and following appropriate safe and sane off-road protocols and regulations. We encourage everyone to be informed and use the off-road environment and materials with the appropriate regard to allow us all to continue having fun and enjoying life.
Online Products
Products purchased online and not installed by the Fat Rat shop are refundable and eligible for return for the amount of purchase price for thirty days should any problems arise. Afer thirty days other fees may be applied under General Restrictions on Warranty and Labor. Parts may also be exchanged for a value equal to or less than the original product. In the event of an exchange of lesser value--partial cash refunds are not given. Shipping, transport of any kind, and other associated costs incurred with the purchase are not refundable.
Fat Rat Enterprises After-Market products are otherwise warranted under the manufacturer's warranty and Fat Rat assumes no liability or responsibilty beyond the manufacturer's warranty. Fat Rat Enterprises additionally assumes no liability for damage done to "wear" parts if customer does not follow up with manufacturer instructions or other suggested care rules for normal maintenance or use. Fat Rat also assumes no liability or responsibility for hazardous operation of any vehicle on the part of its owner or driver. If you think you have a defective product, contact us for a return authorization.
Fat Rat Enterprises as Manufacturer of Custom Parts
Fat Rat Enterprises Custom Products, designed and manufactured by Fat Rat Enterprises, are warrantied for the first three years following complete installation and this warranty is limited to the current owner of the vehicle. Installation is considered to be complete if no requests for repairs have been made following sixty days after the installation. This warranty is extended only under normal anticipated use conditions and does not assume any responsibility or liability for inappropriate use, change to original design, use during professional or amateur competition, nor other modification made to the vehicle which affects the original custom installation of a Fat Rat manufactured part Fat Rat Enterprises also assumes no liability or responsibility for any action on the part of the owner in disregard of common sane safety rules or outright negligance of the vehicle or safety precautions.
Fat Rat also assumes no liability or responsibility for hazardous operation of any vehicle on the part of its owner or driver. Fat Rat will repair and make adjustments to any custom part within sixty days of the first use of the product or application which results from the original design or installation issues but not resulting from use or misuse. Other needed adjustments and repairs can be made with the owner's permission and at the owner's expense. All Returns and Fat Rat Warranties do not include: Recovery of labor costs or the value of time or loss of use or freight or shipping costs.
General Restrictions on Warranty and Labor
Fat Rat Enterprises, with the exception of our own custom designed parts (see above) covers our workmanship only. Fat Rat Enterprises will not pay for loss of time, outside labor or R/R labor. Customer assumes all risks and liability for loss, damage, or injury to persons/property of customers or others arising out of incorrect use or possession of the goods. Fat Rat Enterprises assumes no liability for parts supplied by the customer. A fity percent deposit is required on special orders. Special order parts not paid in full within thirty days will be non-refundable. All returns may be subject to a shipping/freight charge and are non-refundable. All returns may be subject to a thirty percent restocking fee after thirty days. All special orders are non-returnable and non-refundable. All shipping/freight charges are non-refundable.
**Re-torque lug nuts after 50 miles** Fat Rat Enterprises assumes no liability for damage done to wheels or any other "wear" part if customer does not follow up with these instructions or other manufacturer's suggestion for normal maintenance or use.
Keep all other manufacturer's warranties and owner's manuals you receive with the merchandise ordered. In the event an item becomes defective, please refer to the manufacturer's warranty information for proper procedure on returning the merchandise. If we can be of assistance please contact us.
Conditions of misuse or abnormal use include, but are not limited to the following:

Alterations of originally purchased part.

Cosmetic scratches.

Damage done in an accident to the vehicle.

Damage caused during competition professional or amateur events or practice.
SHIPPING AND RETURN POLICY
RETURN POLICY FOR ONLINE PURCHASES THROUGH EBAY OR WEBSITE
Your satisfaction is VERY important to Fat Rat Enterprises. We do our best to ensure enough information in our listings so that compatibility can be established for your vehicle. Please be sure to also check the manufacturer's site for pertinent details to avoid returns. You may also contact us at 707 725-0600 for questions or email us through Ebay. Please note: Returns made due to errors in matching product to vehicle which is seller's responsiblity will require seller to pay return shipping and a restocking fee of 15% in most cases. Returns are also subject to provisions below.
For all returns and exchanges, contact must be made within thirty days of package delivery date. PLEASE e-mail us prior to making an exchange or return for your RMA#. All returns/exchanges must be shipped back to Fat Rat Enterprises within ten days of us providing you with your RMA #. Additionally,
Items must be returned in original package.
Items must remain in brand new condition…not used.
Items MUST remain in resalable condition.
* Returns will be rejected if they do not fit the conditions stated above.
Shipping and handling fees are to be paid by winning bidder and are non-refundable unless item is marked FREE SHIPPING. Once your return arrives at our office and is approved for the refund; refund will be issued back in the form of payment received less restocking fee. On all items that had originally shipped out for free of shipping charge…refund will be issued minus a fifteen percent restocking fee. Exceptions will be examined on a case by case basis.

SORRY NO SHIPPING TO FPO, APO, and PO Box ADDRESSES. All goods must ship to a verifiable physical street address via UPS “that address must be indicated in your PayPal payment”. UPS will not deliver to a PO Box address.
Your purchase will ship within 2 to 14 days “excluding all major holidays” from the time your payment clears. Generally it is on the lower side rather than the higher. This allows us to minimize shipping costs. To expediate shipping using faster services please contact us directly at 707 725-0600.
You will receive an email within the next business day of the completion of your auction or purchase to notify you of expected shipping date. Another email will follow upon verification of actual shipment. Tracking numbers will be shared so you can chart your order's progress as it moves across country
HI, AK & PUERTO RICO Customers:
An ADDITIONAL Fee between $10 to $40 (depending on the rates we are charged) shipping charge will apply for each shipment sent. The fee most common is $25.00. We do not profit off of handling charges and simply pass on our costs to the customer. Shipping will be processed via UPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground, or FedEx whichever expense is less to our customer. Normal delivery time is up to 21 days Days.
Canadian Customers:
Shipping will be processed on the following business day your payment clears. Shipping will either be established via UPS or FedEx “depending on the item”. If seller is paying shipping, the shipping price you pay us, includes shipping, handling and all brokerage fees that we prepay via FedEx. Your package will arrive free of any additional cash on delivery fees!
International Customers, other than Canada, may be be assessed special shipping and handling fees to cover full cost of shipment.
